Fuzzy Logic

I find myself wanting to add additional truth values to Boolean logic which has just:

  • Yes (True)
  • No (False)

As a minimum I also want:

  • Maybe (Unknown)

So this leaves me with Ternary logic, which is a subset of Fuzzy Logic where the truth values can take any real number between 0 and 1.

For example:

  • denayarose is an agent of Google
  • denayarose is not an agent of Google
  • denayarose maybe an agent of Google

I Choose To Believe the 3rd option as I have insufficient evidence either way.

This gets me out of a bind where I was being forced to choose a concrete value. So I no longer take sides in a conspiracy theory.

Note that it’s still “I” choosing to believe rather than “You”. Roll on potential customers…
